Human Services Eligibility Guide Made Available

The Delaware County Rural Healthcare Alliance website now offers a Health and Human Services Eligibility Guide, designed to be a quick reference guide as a first step in identifying federal, state and county programs available for residents.

The guide is categorized by program type and is based on income, household size, and other criteria. Some programs are free or low-cost health, human service and/or housing related. With the assistance of area agencies and their professional staff, eligibility for these programs could alleviate difficult financial situations for county residents, the website advises.

The Rural Healthcare Alliance website also offers a directory of local and regional health care providers, professional agencies and other health related services. Educational programs and a schedule of events can also be found on the site.
