No-Fee Crisis Counseling in Tioga County

With funding from the Tioga County Senior Citizens Foundation, The Samaritan Counseling Center, a non-profit organization accredited by the Samaritan Institute of Denver, Colorado, is pleased to offer a limited amount of No-Fee Crisis Counseling for low-income Tioga County residents, who have no mental health insurance and who are age 50 and older. Counseling is provided using a holistic approach of mind, body, spirit and community to individuals, couples, groups, and families. Issues may include grief and loss, marital and family concerns, anger and stress management, addictions, aging, anxiety, and depression. Licensed counselors are available by appointment only in a satellite office in Owego, located on the second floor of Wesley House at the Owego United Methodist Church on Main Street.
