Living Healthy Workshop in Whitney Point

WHITNEY POINT – Do you have arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, asthma, or other chronic conditions? Are you providing care for someone who does? Consider signing up for Living Healthy, a six-week workshop to be held at the Northern Broome Senior Center, 12 Strongs Place, Whitney Point. Workshop dates are Jan. 25, Feb. 1, 8, 16, and 22, and March 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. The workshop is free to individuals over 60 or people 18-59 years old without insurance. This Stanford University Patient Education Workshop empowers participants to take charge of their health condition. Participants will receive a free workbook and relaxation CD. There is a healthy snack provided during the break. Living Healthy is offered by Rural Health Network of South Central New York, Inc., RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) and Broome County Office for Aging. Pre-registration is required.
